Lefkada is the fourth biggest island of the Ionian Islands. It is placed between Corfu and Cephalonia and pretty close to coasts of western continental Greece. Lefkada benefits from its easy access as it is connected with the mainland by a floating bridge of 50m. Lefkada abstain 385 klm from Athens and 400 klm from Thessaloniki.

Villa Maria, which is placed in the western side of Lefkada, has easy access to the famous from their breathtaking beauty beaches of Agios Nikitas, Kathisma, Egremnoi, Porto Katsiki, which is among the better beaches of the Mediterranean and many others.

Villa Maria is placed on the outskirts of the traditional settlement of Tsoukalades.

It abstain just 5 klm from the town of Lefkada and extends hospitality to the visitors into its newly-built on 2009- accommodations.

The settlement of Tsoukalades is built quite high up above the west coast of Lefkada with a panoramic view to open Ionian Sea, Epirus, and Paxoi islands. Some of its benefits are its amazing sunset views, the nice dry clime and the beautiful beach called “Gialou Scala.” It’s worth the try to visit the area of the primary school of Tsoukalades where the sunset is going to encharm you! In the settlement you will find also traditional taverns, coffee houses, kiosk and mini market.

The next destination (just 5 klm far) is the fishing village Agios Nikitas. On the way from Agios Nikitas, just 3 klm far from villa Maria you will meet the unique natural’s beauty beach, called Pefkoulia.
